More about this project
Building off of our work and the success of the LargeLots.org project, we have continued our partnership with the Department of Planning and Development at the City of Chicago to expand the map interface and simple application process to all land sales conducted by the City of Chicago.
Similar to Large Lots, the website shows a map of all surplus land owned by the city, with a subset of it marked for sale.
Browse available property by location, zoning, square footage and sale status
The DataMade team built a simple application checklist form to help applicants navigate the sales process, align their project to the right city program, and confirm that they have all the necessary documents to begin an application.
Users fill out an application checklist before beginning the full application
